Starring Arun vijay, the suspense thriller thadam directed by his Thadaiyara Thaaka director Magizh Thirumeni is one of the biggest blockbuster movies of kollywood this year. Following the success of the movie, it was announced that the telugu remake of this movie will begin with ram pothineni starring in it and directed by his nenu sailaja maker kishore Tirumala and Bankrolled by Sravanthi ravi Kishore.

However, reportedly after the successful result of his latest mass entertainer ismart shankar ram pothineni has decided not to do thadam remake and has reportedly decided to move on to the sequel to ismart shankar titled as Double iSmart again by puri Jagannath.

Energetic hero ram and puri Jagannadh's iSmart shankar has emerged as a blockbuster as the film collected a distributor share of 34.55 cr by the end of its run at the box office. It has also emerged as career highest grosser for the hero ram Pothineni. This is Ram's first 30 Crore Share film.
