Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan who was last seen on screen in the disastrous Vishwaroopam 2 will be seen playing lead next in the much-awaited indian 2, the sequel to his 1996 blockbuster indian helmed by magnum opus maker shankar and bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
After being launched in january there was no progress as the actor was busy with the lok sabha elections and activities pertaining to his Makkal Needhi Maiam party and now after a gap of seven months, the movie has started shooting again on a special day marking the stepping of Kamal Haasan into his 60th year in films.
The shooting resuming was confirmed by slender waist babe rakul preet singh who is acting in a key role in the movie as Siddharth's pair. She shared a photo from the sets captioning it as indian 2 begins in her instagram story. indian 2 also features a huge cast including Kajal Aggarwal, aishwarya Rajesh, vidyut jammwal and has music scored by Anirudh. kajal aggarwal resumed the shooting finally and she tried prosthetic makeup for the first time in her long career.
