Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the daughter of yesteryear macho action hero and politician Sarathkumar, had made her debut with the 2012 flick Poda Podi, and since then has been making an impact with movies like vikram Vedha, Thara Thappattai to name a few.
Now, the actress has bagged an offer of a lifetime, as she is all set to play the role of none other than former chief minister of tamilnadu, the late jayalalitha in an upcoming biopic of the actress turned politician and leader of AIADMK party, titled as "The iron Lady".
The first look of The iron Lady was released recently, and the movie is directed by debutant Priyadarshini, an erstwhile associate of director Mysskin. The movie will begin shooting sooner, and the details on the rest of the cast will be announced in a few days. It should be noted that AL vijay already is making the same with kangana ranaut as jayalalitha and the movie is titled as 'Thalaivi'. However, the first look has been trolled mercilessly as kangana was never even half of what the Late cm was.
