Performances:

aishwarya rajesh Delivers an impressive performance as her role requires her to be in two contrasting angles as a wrestler and as a lover, and she aces both. uday shankar is adequate though he could have emoted better. The rest of the cast including pradeep Rawat, Shailaja, Bhadram, naga mahesh are adequate.

Technicalities:

Background score by Gifton Elias is loud and jarring while none of the songs impress. Cinematography by Ganesh Chandra is top notch capturing the action and songs very well. Editing by raja Sethupathi could have been taut.

Analysis:

Debutant director NV nirmal kumar who has made movies like Salim in tamil makes his tollywood debut with Missmatch where he has got a talented actress like aishwarya rajesh to carry the plot but despite having an interesting backdrop of sports and love, nirmal kumar has missed to present an exciting screenplay. Most parts of the first half moves in a dull mode, the second half is rushed without any exciting or unique memorable sequence. With uninspiring performance by Uday Shankar, the dusky babe aishwarya rajesh struggles Hard to keep the attention on her but the lackluster screenplay lets her down, as ultimately Missmatch ends as an average outing.

Verdict: aishwarya rajesh shines in this average entertainer.
