Following petta, Superstar Rajnikanth is acting in his 167th movie darbar, directed by AR murugadoss and bankrolled by lyca productions and they were shooting for the past few months in mumbai, with the last schedule happening in Terna specialty hospital.
With the end of that schedule, the darbar team started shooting few portions from august 18 at jaipur, with the plan to shoot a song sequence and the movie has Lady Superstar Nayanthara pairing with Superstar Rajnikanth after Chandramukhi. The team also shot some chasing sequences and now they have planned to release the movie in hindi too.
Darbar has bollywood actors suniel shetty, prateik babbar and nawab shah as the antagonists while nivetha thomas, yogi Babu, Anandaraj and Bose venkat are also in the movie which has music by anirudh and is planned as pongal 2020 release. The makers are keen to release the movie in hindi and Rajini is expected to dub himself in hindi as he is very much familiar in the language. Earlier, His 2.O got a parallel release in hindi and it became a huge blockbuster.
