Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will not be producing the upcoming Spider-Man movies due to profit-sharing issues between sony and Marvel’s parent Disney. This means that the final Spiderman movie of the Marvel cinematic universe will be Spider-Man: Far From Home. But things turned around and one more movie has been signed under Marvel.

Disney had made a proposal that the upcoming Spider-Man movies must be made on a 50-50 profit sharing between Disney and sony, though currently, it is just 5 percent of gross box-office revenue that is given to Disney and as sony was not okay with it, they have decided to separate Spiderman from MCU.

As said by sony they are pinning all hopes on their director Jon Watts known for directing the movies Spider-Man: Homecoming and its sequel Spiderman: Far From home, the lead actor Tom Holland, and producer Amy Pascal to score hits with the upcoming Spiderman movies even in absence of Feige. Now, finally, an amicable deal has been settled and it has been confirmed that Spiderman is safe under Marvel cloud and the future of Spiderman will continue under Marvel Studios itself.
