Story:

As Spencer is caught into the game again, Fridge, Bethany, and Martha have to save him. In an unexpected turn of events, Spencer's grandad Eddie and his friend Milo are caught in the game as well. This time, Jumanji has advanced to its next level and the friends have to encounter the evil Jurgen the Brutal to save Spencer and return to the real world, and how they do it is what the movie is all about.
Performances:
Dwayne Johnson is his usual self, smashing people around and casually evoking laughs with his body language, while Jack Black and Kevin hart form a hilarious combo that entertains throughout. Karen Gillan is pretty and emotes well, besides flexing muscles when required. Nick Jonas and Awkwafina are aptly cast while the rest of the cast including Rhys, Danny Devito, Danny Glover, Madison Iseman, alex Wolff, Serdarius Blain, and Morgan Turner are adequate.
Technicalities:
The background score by Henry Jackman is scintillating while the stunning cinematography by Gyula Pados captures the Jumanji world impressively. Taut editing by Steve Edwards makes Jumanji The Next level a crisp and engaging flick.
Analysis:
Director Jake Kasdan has reunited his cast for the sequel of Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle and has perfectly utilized them exploiting their humor potential. This time around, though the challenges are minimal and the outcomes are predictable, Dwayne Johnson and the team keep you glued. Besides the game and adventure angle, the movie also speaks on relationships, friendship and love, through Martha - Spencer, and Eddie - Milo. With several super fun moments that will make you laugh your hearts out, Jumanji The Next level is powered by an engaging screenplay from Jake Kasdan and hilarious performances from the whole cast ultimately ending as a perfect sequel which is a must-watch for the weekend.
Verdict: Jumanji The Next level is a fun-filled must watch.
