nandamuri Balakrishna's ruler is gearing up for release on december 20th as christmas Special. The makers have completed their censor formalities a little while ago and have managed to obtain a UA certificate. ruler runtime is around 2 Hours 30 Minutes. By usual standards of telugu cinema, this runtime is considered a convenient runtime to sit back and enjoy. The movie will have stiff competition from Sai Dharam Tej's Prathi Roju Pandage and salman Khan's dabangg 3 telugu Version. Karthi's donga is also releasing on the same day.
ruler is based on the lives of telugu people who settled in uttar pradesh and the problems they face there due to regional discrimination. sonal chauhan and vedhika are the heroines while bhumika will be seen in a crucial role in the film.
Jai simha fame ks ravikumar is wielding the megaphone for this movie. As of now, the movie is carrying very little hype since the promotional content of the film is disappointing. It has to be seen if this will impact the film openings. Rumors are that c kalyan is releasing the film with a whopping 15 Crore deficit and that means a huge risk for the producer. Further, this competition will hurt the movie a lot.
