Bollywood producer and husband of yesteryear dream girl sridevi, boney kapoor ventured this year into kollywood with the smash hit movie Ner Konda Paarvai, the official tamil remake of bollywood superhit Pink. Ner Konda Paarvai featured Thala ajith and shraddha srinath and collected more than 100 crores.
Currently, boney kapoor is involved in bankrolling two movies namely Thala Ajith's 60th movie tentatively called 'Valimai' helmed by Ner Konda Paarvai director H Vinoth again beside the ajay devgn starrer bollywood movie Maidaan directed by amit Sharma, marking the hindi debut of Keerthy Suresh.
Buzz is that boney kapoor has acquired the remake rights of the recent hit movie Comali directed by pradeep Ranganathan and starring Jayam ravi, kajal aggarwal, yogi Babu, and Samyuktha Hegde, and it has also been said that the hindi version will star Boney's son arjun Kapoor. kajal aggarwal who essayed the female lead role in the tamil version is expected to do the same in the tamil version. However, she is yet to sign the dotted line as she is already busy with Shankar's 'Indian 2'.
