comedian vivek is yet again back to limelight as he has been making his presence felt with back to back hits and acclaimed movies such as Viswasam and Vellai Pookal where he was seen as a cop and his next is Dharala prabhu starring Harish Kalyan, the official remake of hindi hit Vicky Donor.
Vivek was recently roped in to act in Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan's magnum opus indian 2, the sequel to his 1996 blockbuster India. Directed by Shankar, this movie is bankrolled by lyca productions and co-stars kajal aggarwal, rakul preet singh, siddharth and will have music scored by Anirudh.
Vivek had opened up during an interview that he will be seen as a cbi officer in indian 2. Earlier in 1996 Indian, malayalam actor nedumudi venu had played a cbi officer Krishnaswamy. indian 2 happens to be Vivek's fourth collaboration with shankar after Boys, Anniyan and sivaji, and his first with Kamal. At the same time, kajal aggarwal also revealed that she will be seen as a cbi officer for the flashback episodes and she will be essaying an interesting role with dual shades.
