Glamorous star Yaashika Aannand entered kollywood with a small role in the Jiiva, kajal aggarwal starrer adult comedy Kavalai Vendaam, and had later played a rape victim in young director Karthick Naren's maiden directorial movie Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru.
Yashika Aannand is a tamil actress, based in chennai, and she debuted with the 2016 flick Kavalai Vendaam starring Jiiva, in which she played a swimming instructor. However, she came to be known to many after she played a molested girl in the crime thriller superhit Dhuruvangal 16 aka D16. After this she had did many sensuous roles and was seen in skimpy outfits in parties and was also a contestant in the second season of bigg boss game show hosted by Kamal Haasan. Recently she opened up that she regrets acting in the adult comedy Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu.
She opened up that it is because of her acting in Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu that she is receiving vulgar comments in her posts and said she regrets signing the movie and that they added bad scenes which were not part of the narrated story and said from now she will target performance-oriented roles and reduce glam.
