The makers of SS Rajamouli's RR - The Multistarer film with ram charan and ntr have dropped enough hints about a possible postponement but ram charan confused things further by saying that the movie is on track for July 30th release. Now, there may be clarity about the film's release.
"Guess this one... The big film - being directed by the #Blockbuster director from south india - will have a new release date... According to sources, the biggie will now release in Oct 2020 (sic)," bollywood Trade Analyst, Taran adarsh wrote on his official twitter account, fueling the speculations.
If it is rrr, the movie will see the light as gandhi jayanthi Special or for Dussehra. dussehra navratri begins friday, october 16th. vijayadashami is on sunday, october 25. No big hindi or tamil films planned so far. This will be an ideal date but the team may go with october 2 considering their pre-independence subject RRR is a fictitious story based on two Legendary Freedom Fighters - Alluri Seetha ramaraju and Komaram Bheem. ram charan will play Alluri while ntr will play the telangana Warrior.
