Actress shobhana has been known for her excellent performances and acting in nearly 230 movies in tamil, malayalam, telugu, kannada and even in bollywood and has won the National award for best acting twice with the movies Manichithirathazu in malayalam and Mitr my friend in Hindi.
Shobana had not been acting in films for quite some time and she had last appeared in tamil in the simbu starrer Poda Podi released way back in 2012 and in malayalam in Thira which was released in 2013. Post a six-year hiatus, the actress is returning to films.
Shobhana is back to movies and acting with an untitled malayalam movie helmed by debutant Anoop Sathyan, son of veteran sathyan Anthikkad and this movie will get her paired with her Manichithirathazhu pair suresh Gopi and bankrolled by dulquer salmaan and also features kalyani Priyadarshan. Yesteryear Actress shobhana had decided to marry at a late age. The actress who is single all these years always maintained that dance is her first love. She runs a dance school in chennai and is very choosy about her film projects.
