Actor dhanush was recently seen on screen in asuran which brought back the success combo of Pollathavan, Aadukalam and Vada chennai reuniting with director vetrimaran and this movie bankrolled by kalaipuli S Thanu's v creations recently grossed 100 crores.
The movie got released last year on october 4 and is the celluloid version of the acclaimed novel Vekkai penned by Sahitya Academy award winner Poomani, and co-stars malayalam actress manju warrier in her tamil debut, Ken Karunaas, Teejay, Ammu Abhirami, Pasupathy, Prakashraj and music scored by GV Prakash.
