The bollywood superhit movie pink released in 2016 and starring amitabh bachchan, taapsee pannu, kirti kulhari and andrea tariang and directed by Aniruddha Roy Choudhary was remade in tamil recently as Ner Konda Paarvai directed by H Vinoth.
Starring Thala ajith, Shraddha Srinath, abhirami and andrea tariang, the movie grossed more than 100 crores and became a superhit, and following this now the same producer boney kapoor is remaking the movie in telugu as well and has got none other than Powerstar pawan Kalyan.
Powerstar who was last seen on screen in agnyaathavaasi which was a disaster is making a comeback to films after his announcement of quitting films to focus on janasena, and this movie will be helmed by sriram venu and bankrolled by ace producer dil raju and boney kapoor together. nivetha thomas who is reprising the role of Taapsee from hindi and shraddha srinath from tamil says, "I am happy to do the role of Taapsee mam from the original. I have watched the original version a dozen times and recently shraddha srinath impressed me in the tamil version as she portrayed it in a unique fashion. I am waiting eagerly for the shooting date."
