Superstar rajinikanth and Universal hero kamal haasan are joining hands for a film. The movie, Thalaivar 169, will be launched on march 5th with an auspicious pooja in Chennai. It is not a film that they are acting together, but Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films international will be bankrolling the movie.
Rumors are that khaidi fame lokesh kanagaraj will be wielding the megaphone for the project. An official announcement is expected soon. Currently, rajinikanth is busy with the shooting of Annaatthe with director Siva. The team just finished a crucial schedule in Hyderabad. On the other side, lokesh is busy with the final schedule of master with Thalapathy Vijay.
kamal haasan is currently recovering from the shock of the freak accident on the sets of his bharateeyudu 2. a Crane carrying Lighting Equipment came crashing down on a tent in the shooting location of Kamal Haasan's Bharateeyudu 2. Three persons were killed on the spot and leaving at least ten others injured. Kamal had come to the rescue of the families who lost their lives. He announced One Crore for the families of the three technicians who lost their lives in the tragic accident.
