Established producer G Dhananjayan, who had been associated as co-producer with big companies like Moser Baer, Disney UTV, and known for bankrolling films such as the upcoming Oomai Vizhigal, Kaatrin Mozhi, and Mr. Chandramouli is set to don the avatar of a director next, for a movie bankrolled by his wife Lalitha.
Dhananjayan announced this and said "Yes friends. Finally after associating with a number of films in various capacities, taking the plunge as 'Director' for a film with the encouragement of @lalithagd. I had great deliberations on my Screenplay with "Karundhel' Rajesh, Dir. Stanly sir & Young team and locked it now".
Earlier this movie was supposed to be directed by another maker but due to their contrasting visions, Dhananjayan took over as a director and this untitled movie is set to begin rolling from january 2020. Besides this project, Dhananjayan is also bankrolling and penning additional screenplay for the sibiraj starrer Kabadadhaari. Actor sibiraj had last delivered the sleeper hit Sathya which was the official remake of telugu hit kshanam directed by Saithan director pradeep Krishnamoorthy, and the actor-director duo has again joined for a thriller bankrolled by G Dhananjayan.
