Versatile actor Suriya was seen twice on screen this year with the Selvaraghavan directorial political entertainer NGK and the KV anand directorial action thriller Kaappaan, both the movies failing at the box office.
Suriya recently wrapped shooting his next release soorarai pottru helmed by Irudhi Suttru fame sudha Kongara and the first look poster which had been released yesterday announced his character name to be Maara/ Nedumaran Rajangam.
The official announcement has been made that soorarai pottru will be releasing in summer 2020, and this would mean that the actor will be clashing directly with the lokesh kanagaraj directorial vijay starrer movie and this clash between Suriya and vijay happens 9 years after 2011 Velayudham and 7aam Arivu.
Actor karthi had last appeared in the disastrous Dev, and his next success came in the form of the action entertainer Kaithi helmed by Managaram fame lokesh kanagaraj and is now occupied with the promotions of his new movie and in the recent pre-release event of a telugu movie he broke a piece of surprise news.
