Thala ajith had last appeared in the courtroom drama Ner Konda Paarvai, which was the official tamil remake of hindi hit pink, and was helmed by H Vinoth and bankrolled by boney kapoor and now the same team of director and producer have joined hands for Valimai.

Though there are various rumors on the heroine of Valimai a few days back Lady Superstar Nayanthara and her lover director Vignesh Shivn met boney kapoor and his daughter Khushi Kapoor in a restaurant in Manhattan, US, and dined together leading to buzz that Nayan might pair with ajith in Valimai. Nayanthara, the lady superstar is on cloud nine as her last release, the Thala ajith starrer Viswasam was a humongous blockbuster and following that she was seen in the horror drama Airaa where she plays a double role. But, that failed.
