Tentatively referred to as Chiyaan Vikram58 the spy action thriller is bankrolled by bollywood production house Viacom 18 and 7 Screen Studio Lalit Kumar and this movie happen to be the kollywood debut of sandalwood babe srinidhi shetty of kgf fame, and cricketer Irfan Pathan is also a part of the movie.
The interesting buzz around the movie is that the team has planned to name the movie as Amar, and an official confirmation is awaited in this regard. But, the team has titled the movie 'Cobra'. Cobra will have music scored by AR rahman and following the wrap of this movie, vikram will move to Maniratnam directorial Ponniyin Selvan. If reports are to be trusted, trisha never got a chance to act in 'Saamy 2' where vikram is doing the lead role. Now, trisha is likely to pair with vikram in a new project which will be directed by a debut director.
