Versatile hero Suriya is not just an actor but has also ventured into production and has delivered several successful movies under his popular 2D Entertainment banner and some of his successful outings include his wife Jyothika's comeback flick 36 Vayathiniley and Karthi's Kadaikutty Singam.
Suriya's last production venture happened to be the Jyothika, Revathy starrer Jackpot followed by which he is bankrolling his own movie soorarai pottru which is helmed by Irudhi Suttru fame sudha Kongara and now as a surprise move Suriya has acquired rights of a new film.
Suriya's 2D entertainment recently acquired the tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Sillu Karuppatti helmed by Poovarasam PeePee fame Halitha Shameem and this small interesting flick has samuthirakani, Sunainaa, Nivethitha sathish and Manikandan as part of the cast and features music scored by pradeep Kumar. The movie was a huge hit as it was praised by critics. But now, the movie is facing a struggle to get a tv Premiere. All prime channels are busy with star hero movies and no one has come forward to premiere this small budget flick.
