Sai Sudha, a small-time character artist associated with the telugu film industry has lodged a complaint with the Sanjeeva reddy nagar police station in hyderabad this morning against a well-known cinematographer, shyam K Naidu. She alleged he had promised to marry her but cheated her. shyam was called to the police station and is being questioned by the police, media channels are reporting.
The actress was known for a little role in vijay Deverakonda's arjun Reddy. shyam K Naidu cranked the camera for blockbusters like pokiri, businessman, julayi, and Temper. He is also the brother of popular cinematographer Chota K Naidu. Previously, he was also named in the tollywood Drug case. The case was watered down due to some behind the screens compromise. So, there were no arrests in the case so far.
Sexual exploitation issue is not anything new for the telugu film industry or for any industry for that matter. But there are very few instances the victims came out and complained. Out of those, many cases ended up in out of court settlements. It has to be seen how this case will end up.
