The pongal 2014 rural mass entertainer movie Veeram starring Thala ajith and tamannaah and helmed by Siva, after a hiatus from tamil post the successful karthi starrer Siruthai was the blockbuster of the year and gave a stunning image makeover for Thala.
Following the success of Veeram, ajith and Siva reunited and delivered big blockbuster movies like Vedhalam, Vivegam, and Viswasam last year. Following the telugu remake of Veeram, the pawan kalyan starrer katamarayudu it's hindi remake is now planned.
The hindi remake of Veeram has been announced to be titled as bachchan pandey starring akshay kumar and this was his character name in the disastrous Tashan. bachchan pandey will be helmed by Farhad Samji and bankrolled by sajid nadiadwala.
