The kgf sequel is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film is scheduled to be released for dussehra, but the film may be postponed to next year due to a lockdown. Satellite rights to the film have been sold for Rs 120 crore. This includes the rights of all the languages the movie will release. Interestingly, the telugu satellite rights of the first part of kgf have not been sold yet. On the other hand, the thirty-day shoot of the film is not finished yet.
In this case, there have been reports going around that the film will be released on OTT as it has been sold for a whopping price on amazon Prime. Farhan Akthar who is releasing the movie in hindi clarified that, the movie will release in theaters on october 23rd as confirmed earlier and there won't be any backlogs. He also refuted the rumors of releasing the movie on OTT before a theatrical release.
