Jyothika had her recent movie Ponmagal Vandhaal helmed by debutant JJ Frederick and bankrolled by Suriya's 2D entertainment which was having a direct OTT premiere skipping theatres last week.
Ponmagal Vandhaal also stars K bhagyaraj, Parthiban, Pandiarajan, prathap pothan, and Thiagarajan and spoke on child sexual abuse. Now director JJ Frederick has shared a sweet note to jyothika through Facebook.

Right from standing by the script to pitching it to Suriya Sir, There's not a day that's gone by without you, encouraging me. Your unconditional love and trust towards this film is the reason for what it is today ma’am! Thank you soo much for everything and I am forever grateful to you Ma'am and Suriya Sir, for making my first film so memorable! ??️" The movie received mixed reviews from all quarters and still it got a huge response from OTT as it got an overwhelming response. The next release would be 'Penguin' in OTT.
