Superstar rajinikanth was last seen on screen in the AR murugadoss directorial darbar which was bankrolled by lyca productions and the movie had superstar playing a cop and lady superstar Nayanthara playing Rajnikanth's pair. For the past decade, nayantara is the only heroine to pair consecutively with Rajinikanth. She gets that pride moment.
Now it has been made official that Nayanthara has joined the cast of Superstar Rajnikanth's next untitled flick directed by Siva and bankrolled by sun Pictures and this project has been tentatively titled as Thalaivar 168. Recently, the makers revealed the title as 'Annathe'.
The movie titled as 'Annathe' also stars Meena, Khushbu, Keerthy suresh, Prakashraj, Soori, and sathish and will have music by D.Imman. Thalaivar 168 is said to be a rural mass entertainer. Nayanthara was the female lead in Siva's last release Viswasam as well. The project is bankrolled by sun Pictures and the makers had earlier announced it as a diwali release. Now, it has been pushed to 2021.
