2014 is going to end within few hours and its the time to discuss about performance of Telugu films this year.This year also Tollywood witnessed mixed results and many of the big ticket films bombed at BO. 2014 starts with Mahesh One movie and the film proved as disaster.Apart from One Mahesh faced another flop in form of Aagadu. Given the craze of Prince Mahesh among the masses, the makers have shelled in huge amounts for making these two projets but both films bombed at BO.This year also proved as nighmare for youngtiger. NTR's 'Rabhasa' hit the screens amidst huge expectations. The movie failed to live upto the expectations miserably and collected Rs.26.34 crores share. Coming to hit movies Allu Arjun starrer Race Gurram proved as this years best hit and collected 56 crores.Yevadu;Legend;Drishyam;Manam;Loukyam also proved as successful films.Besides these films, a few other Telugu projects did good business at the box office. Naga Shaurya's "Oohalu Gusa Gusalade," Sharwanand's "Run Raja Run" and Nikhil Siddartha's "Karthikeya" are some of the films that performed well at the box office. The success percentage of Telugu film industry increased considerably in 2014 and the credit goes to young filmmakers who made profits with small budget films.
