Sri Divya, who reach to stardom with movies like Manasara and Mallela Theeram Lo Sirimalle Puvvu in Telugu, has grabbed a biggie The recent news is that the star has been considered in as the main actress in remake of Bangalore Days directed by Bommarillu fame Bhaskar.
Seemingly, Sri Divya has replaced Samantha, who was the first choice for the lead actress character. Since Samantha was a familiar face in both the languages the producers had to view for someone with same importance and have ultimately established Sri Divya.
After Samantha's leaving, the makers have determined to go for a comparatively fresh face for the leading lady character. They viewed Sri Divya's earlier movies Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Jeeva in Tamil etc. and were influenced with her performance.
Besides, since the movie is being produced in Telugu and Tamil, and Sri Divya is a familiar face in both the makers, the makers thought that she fits the bill, says a source close to the unit.
