Vijay - Shrutihaasan starring 'Puli' might have been one of the biggest releases in Kollywood. But the movie fails in Telugu even before its release. The reason is the makers completely ignored the Telugu version. An Audio launch was earlier planned on 19th of September.
But the Audio launch never happened. When we contacted few inside sources, we got the news that, DSP who gave mesmerizing tunes in 'Srimanthudu' has given some pathetic tunes for 'Puli'. The Tamil Audio was a colossal flop and they don't want the same to happen in Telugu.

Similarly, Telugu Audience have just witnessed magnum opus 'Baahubali' and after watching such a visual extravaganza, they will not be interested in such mediocre movies. And it is a known fact, Vijay doesn't have a solid fan base in Andhra Pradesh.
Regarding the huge screen count in Hindi, we hear that Sridevi's husband Bony Kapoor is the shadow investor of pan-India Hindi rights for 'Puli' and that is why the screen count has gone beyond and Sridevi is also promoting the movie on regular basis.
