Salman Khan and his 'Hit and Run' case is a long story. The case is happening from 2002. It was said that Salman ran SUV over people who were sleeping on a pavement. He killed one person and four of them were badly injured. There was a witness who said that it was Salman who drove the SUV.
But today High Court in Mumbai said the witness is not reliable. Salman Khan has appealed against his conviction in the hit and run case. We hear from sources that the court will soon announce the judgement regarding his appeal and it is expected to be in favour of Salman.
As per the court statement, it said, "If the witness is partly reliable then corroboration is required. Ravindra Patil cannot be considered as a wholly reliable witness." The High court also said that the sessions court has made a big mistake by trusting the partial witness.
The High court has also ordered to examine Singer Kamaal Khan who was with Salman Khan that night. It should be noted that last month the court said Kamaal Khan need not be examined.
