Bollywood actors venturing into other industries has been a common phenomenon these days, with Big B Amitabh Bachchan acting in Sye Raa, Shahrukh Khan having acted a decade back in Hey Ram, and Upen Patel who had starred in Shankar directorial Ai with Vikram.
Now, Bollywood Khiladi Kumar Akshay Kumar is currently acting in a very pivotal role as the principal antagonist of Superstar Rajnikanth starrer sci-fi thriller 2.0, the sequel to his 2009 blockbuster Endhiran, where he plays a crow man, and the movie released on November 29.
Even before the release of 2.0, Akshay Kumar has reportedly been approached to do the role that was initially offered to action hero Ajay Devgn in Shankar's next movie Indian 2, starring Ulaga nayagan Kamal Haasan, the sequel to their 1996 vigilante blockbuster. The movie is also said to have Kajal Aggarwal , Simbu and Dulquer Salmaan.
