Director Maniratnam last had his blockbuster Multi-starrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam released and after the success of the movie, the director is all set to restart his ambitious and most expected project Ponniyin Selvan. The cast selection is going on.
The movie is the Film adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy's epic novel and as per reports will star Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Keerthy suresh, aishwarya Rai though there's no official news. But now Director R.parthiban himself confirmed that he is also part of the project and the movie will go on floors shortly.
aishwarya Rai has now revealed she's acting in the Maniratnam magnum opus as she was interviewed at Cannes Film festival. She revealed she's in Maniratnam's next and is excited to work again with him. aishwarya Rai is touted to play Nandini in the movie.
