Performances:

Allu arjun is at his energetic best and gives a solid performance be it the fun sequences or the mass episodes or the emotional moments of the movie. He dances like a charm, emotes wonderfully and is like a ball of fire. pooja hegde is pretty and as the love interest is adequate. tabu and jayaram deliver impressive supporting acts, and give strong performances. nivetha Pethuraj, Sushanth, Navdeep, Rajendra Prasad, rahul ramakrishna and sunil are good in their minimal roles, while samuthirakani as the antagonist is cliched and still manages to appeal. The rest of the cast including murali Sharma, sachin Khadekar, vennela kishore and ajay are aptly cast.

Technicalities:

SS Thaman's background score is impressive and all his songs are already chartbusters. Cinematography by PS Vinod captures the action and family moments in a lively manner. Editing by naveen Nooli could have been better in the second half.

Analysis:

After the success of aravinda sametha veera raghava, director trivikram is back again with a family entertainer in his template. trivikram has this time again gone into Attarintiki Daaredhi, Son of Sathyamurthy mode and has presented a simple family entertainer, with a carefree youngster entering a family and making moves for the welfare of the family. The first half moves on a fun note with bunny entry, clashes with navdeep and romance with pooja Hegde. From the interval with arrival of samuthirakani, the movie takes a detour with several mass moments and thereafter it's a mix of sentiments, emotions, melodrama and some usual end. allu arjun leads from the front and the huge cast supports him well and with the technical team and Thaman supporting him very well, trivikram again delivers a safe bet entertainer that'll work this festive season despite cliches and predictability. All said Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is a clean family entertainer that gives a fine comeback for Bunny.

Verdict: bunny returns to form with Trivikram's clean family entertainer.
