Deeraj Vaithy has made his directorial debut with the project 'Jil Jung Juck'. Siddarth essays male lead role. Siddharth himself has produced the movie and this is his second production venture after 'Kaadhalil Sothapuvathu Eppadi'. Etaki Entertainment banner funds this movie. Apart from siddharth, Sananth Reddy, Nassar, Avinash Ragudevan, Balaji, Radharavi and RJ Balaji were part of supporting cast. The movie is set in backdrop of future land in2020. Siddharth essays role of Jil, Avinash Raghudevan as Jungulingam aka Jung and Sananth Reddy as Jaguar aka Juk. The trio is given a job by Deva. They were assigned to exchange drugs and unexpected things take place during this transfer. What happens during this journey forms the rest of the story. The drugs are kept in a 'Pink' coloured car.

Siddharth as Nanjil Shivaji (Jil), Avinash Raghudevan as Jungulingam (Jung), Sananth Reddy as Jaguar Jagan (Juck) were the backbone of the whole movie. All three of them have delivered their best and their facial expressions are the best part in the movie. Radharavi as Rolex Rawther did a decent job. Naasar also proved his meetle. RJ Balaji is just for a cameo appearance. Even though it's just a cameo, RJ Balaji scores easily. Rest of the characters did justice to their part.

Technically the movie is solid. The first thing which comes to our mind is cinematography. The colour tone of the movie is exquisite and it sets the mood. The cinematography provides a vintage feel. Some cartoon motions, Drawings and animations are notable. The most expected Shoot the Kuruvi song comes only by end. Music is another saviour. But more than songs, background score has worked in this movie. The background music works especially during a stunt sequence. Editing is a big minus. Scenes are not in a linear fashion. The length of the movie is a big negative aspect.

'Jil Jung Juk' is not a conventional Tamil cinema. But at the same time, it is not a 'not-to-be' missed flick. The editing is the biggest minus and that spoils the fun. After some time, we get a feel that when is the movie going to end. Except for the lead protagonists, the movie doesn't have anything in particular to mention. Music is good in parts. Background score is perfect.
