Bottom Line: Overall, "A not to be missed Summer entertainer"

So in the Chinese Spirit realm, Oogaway fights against Spirit Warrior and Collector Kai and his chi gets stolen. But he warns that Po will stop him. Kai returns to Mortal world to get rid of the Dragon Warrior, Po. Meanwhile, Master Shifu announces his retirement and he passes the role of teaching to Po. But Po once again faces humiliation and embarrassment as a teacher. Right at this time Po meets Li Shan and he finds that he was his father. Finally Po leaves valley of peace to get master the art of true chi. Po goes to a secret village where Pandas hide and how Po defeats Kai along with villagers help forms the rest of the story.

Star Performance

In an animation movie, we can't expect more from the actors. However the voices of Jack Black as Po scores once again.  He showed us why we missed the movie so much. Angelina Jolie as Tigress and Jackie Chan as Monkey were completely flawless. Every character has done the job to perfection and you can hardly find flaws in the voices or the characters. Despite everything, the animation characters are so sharp and beautiful.

Techinical Team

Technical wise the movie is solid. First of all credits to Alessandro Carloni  for a crisp direction. Everything was just perfect. Next credits goes to Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger for script writing. Hans Zimmer who recently grabbed our attention with some powerful music in 'Batman Vs Superman' is once again on a high here. This guy has something beyond music and that is reflected as tunes. Great Job Hans ! Care De Chenu editing is once again perfect. The plot and pacing is pretty good and character development is adequate. Next the credits goes to Visual editors. Each and every frame is so captivating with some amazing colours. They just burst out of the screen. The hilarious moments also carry the movie through out. Dialogues are outrageously funny.

This is a movie for all ages. Just like its predecessors this movie has done a perfect job of balancing mature themes with silly humour. The movie also has some emotions and the voice of lead actors are as usual great. Most of the times, we find the animation so amazing. It is a perfect animation with well developed characters. Only negative thing is, the villain. He is weak and pretty lame.
