Shah Rukh Khan's most anticipated movie 'FAN' directed by Maneesh Sharma has finally got released and this is a clear 'Winner'. As we all know, the movie is about Gaurav is a hardcore fan of Aryan Khanna. 'Fan' in sense, he's literally an obsessed mad who will write mail in own blood, tattoo the name and do all sorts of crazy things. Most of them can just seem themselves on the screen.  And at one stage Gaurav meets his dream actor Aryan Khanna. But the meeting is not as expected. He gets humiliated and he understands the world of a 'Movie Star'. Then starts the journey of the wounded fan and his love turns into hatred. He starts to get his revenge. He cleverly plans it and how Aryan tackles it forms a gripping tale !

Shah Rukh Khan is just 'OUTSTANDING'. He has given an explosive performance and he is unique. He just made it all worthwhile.  He is a pure genius. He definitely succeeds in convincingly demonstrating how easily and quickly obsessive devotion can turn to obsessive hatred, when the object of that devotion fails to meet the assumptions of the extreme fan. Shah Rukh has proved why he is one of the best actors around with this performance. Rest of the cast also did justice. Especially Deepika Amin and Yogendra Tiku scores well as Gaurav's Mother and Father. They show the typical mindset of Indian parents.Waluscha de Sousa and Shriya Pilgaonkar also were flawless.

It s refreshing to see a movie without songs. But still Andrea Guerra's background score and Vishal-Shekar duo's 'Jabra Fan' create wonders. As the movie doesn't have any songs, the editing desk has less work. Namrata Rao's editing is crisp and even though the running time is 143 minutes, it glues us to our seats. Production values are high and that reflects in the quality of the movie. We just can't find flaws anywhere in technical department. Visual effects department deserves a bow as they have worked on pretty complex stuff.

'Fan' is quite remarkable and it is a huge turn around for Shah Rukh Khan after the colossal flop of 'Dilwale'. The movie packs the real suspense. However some clunky camera work and jumpy editing are the negatives. But they don't spoil the flow of the movie. Shah Rukh Khan himself with a terrific cast has delivered an engaging movie. There is much more here than meets the eye.
