So where to start ? Watching 'Warcraft' for 123 minutes is like getting banged on the head with Dungeons and Dragons Monster Manual. Whenever Hollywood tries to adapt a story from Video game they have to be careful as it may result either as a blockbuster franchise or will end up as 'Jonah Hex' or 'Lone Ranger'. So in this review, we can see how this Video game to Movie adaptation ends. Coming to plot, we have an interspecies clash between Humans and Orcs. Orcas are ruled by evil leader named Gul'dan. Among orcs, Durotan and his wife Draka gives birth to baby orc. Now Gul'dan funds a portal and he tries to attack puny humans. As the portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. Who wins the battle ? What happened to the portal and watch out other queries on Silver screen.

Even though CGI dominate the movie a lot, we have some stellar performances from characters such as Anduin Lothar, Garona, Medivh and so on. Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster were flawless and they have showed their mettle in each frame. Even the voice of Daniel Wu as Gul'dan is scary. Motion Capture has just been a piece of cake these days. Rest of the cast are above average and they are not great. But in the end, Orcs are far better than Humans. Even if you haven't played the video game, you will understand the script. Lothar played by Travis was an amazing main character.

To start off, all credits goes to Duncan Jones. He has made another fantastic flick. He already proved his mettle with 'Source Code'. Making a Fantasy genre movie was not an easy task. Quality of CGI plays a major role in these genres. CHI is breathtaking and they just take us to a whole new world. CGI is definitely equal to AVATAR and DAWAN OF PLANET OF APES. CGI is used in massive scale and that makes it more impressive. Watching Hundreads of Orcs with unique characteristics and facials is mind boggling. Orcs are crafted beautifully. The way they are sketched is flawless. The best implementation of fantasy world in recent times. Next credit goes to cinematography. The use of multiple cameras to fulm the motion capture performers is not an easy task. But that has been done so easy. Beneath the richly textured layers of motion capture, animation and 3D there is also emotions and that matters for tasting success. Even the musical score from Ramin Djawadi (known for his work on Iron Man and Game of Thrones) delivers a pulse-pounding fantasy soundtrack.

For the first time, Video game to Movie adaptation has been rock solid. CGI ws dazzling in each frame. The production values was so high and it is obvious from the make up, costumes and CGI. Director Jones ensured humour is there throughout to balance the dread and warfare. Gul'Dan was a bad ass and the movie has its moments too. On flip side, Travis never fit into his role. The movie could have been little darker. But what they have made is a Kid's movie right now. Also in a particular scene when a main character dies in midst of battle, you can definitely end up crying. This is the best contender this Summer.
