The movie's plot speaks about the system of arranged marriages and the pressure that goes around it. The entire movie was portrayed with realism. Actually, this movie deserves the title 'Iraivi' as most of the story revolves around women. Three young women are on verge of entering marital bliss. Lakshmi (Mia George), a timid homely girl from Trichy, radio jockey Susheela (Ritwika) and Kavya (Nivetha Pethuraj) an IT professional. Lakshmi's problem is with her strict and traditional father who rejects all eligible guys. For Susheela her dark skin and media profession were huge obstacles. Kavya's worry is her boyfriend is an introvert and he has lots of inferior complex. The movie clearly speaks about the pre-wedding pressure in today's scenario and it was shown with little humour.

Mia George who was last seen in'Vetrivel' fits the bill perfectly as Girl next door. Ritvika who already proved herself in 'Madras' once again strike bull's eye as bold and confident RJ. The actress once again shows off an amazing performance. Nivetha is beautiful and as an IT employee she brings the hardships. Dinesh should walk out of 'Cuckoo' movie. Still he performs as if he is blind ! Balasaravanan provides comic relief and at times he evokes laughter. Ramesh Thilak, Karunakaran, Charlie too impress in their short roles.

Debutante Nelson Venkatesan deserves a welcome bouquet for making an innovative idea. Also he clearly showcased the hardships which happen before marriage. He presented smartly all characters and interlinked all of them in the climax. Even the accident twist comes as a shocking surprise. Welcome to Kollywood Nelson ! Musical score by Justin Prabhakaran is soothing to ears. Songs are also beautifully placed. Sentimental scenes are elevated to new heights with his re-recording. Editing by Sabu.V.Joseph is crisp and all scenes are linear. Cinematography by Gokul is neat and each frame is clear.

The movie speaks about 'Arranged marriages' concept and what works is really the essence of the plot. All performances are flawless. Dinesh is an exception. Technically the movie is solid. Cinematography, Music and Editing are flawless. The Pre-wedding pressure was shown in a realistic manner. Credits goes to Nelson for handling it with subtle humour. Cinematographer Gokul showed each frame in a crystal clear fashion. The editing was flawless and Sabu.V.Joseph has done an exemplary job.

Dinesh,Mia George,Nivetha Pethuraj'Oru Naal Koothu' is definitely a 'Marriage' treat !
