'Enakku Innoru Per Irukku (EIPI) is yet another attempt by GV Prakash where he never tries to get the lime light. In fact he has allowed other comedy actors to step forward and he just sits back and enjoys the ride. The movie is about story of a young man who faints on seeing violence. At one stage he falls in love with female lead (Anandhi) and he decides to become a gangster. The whole movie is set in the backdrop of Royapuram and the whole story is about the competition for the prestigious seat of Naina who is a regular gangster. How the lead protagonist sits as a renowned gangster is narrated through 'Humour'. In short, the template story is narrated against a North Chennai gangster background.
GV Prakash has proved his mettle as actor once again. He clearly understands his strengths. The best thing about him is, he chooses wise roles and he fits into the shoes perfectly. One of the actors who clearly understands his potential and lets supporting cast to rule the screen. He has just took the backseat in this journey. Anandhi doesn't have much to offer in this move. In fact this movie doesn't have mindless comedies on the actress just like 'Trisha Illana Nayantara'. The whole movie rides on the support of supporting roles.Ilavarasan, VTV Ganesh, Nirosha, Mottai Rajendran and everyone have done justice to their roles. Yogi Babu and Karunaas are the saviours of the movie in second half. They keep the wheel running till the end. Even spoof of 'Baahubali' evokes laughter and it brings the roof down. Karunas as last survivor of Kakatiya dynasty has just done it again. The way he speaks Kiliki language is hilarious. The supporting cast just deliver their witty sense of humour as promised.
GV Prakash who scored music for this project has used famous themes and background scores from popular movies. In fact he has used them powerfully and that has blended with the characters well. Director Sam Anton who scored success on his debut has done again. He clearly knows the pulse of audience and he never missed an opportunity to score. Seems he is active in social media. Most of the jokes are taken from day to day updates. Lots of humorous situations propel the story without any sluggishness. Antony.L.Ruben's cuts are crisp. Umesh Kumar has brought the seashore area with his lively set designs. Krishnan Vasanth's cinematography is also top notch. LYCA Productions who producer '2.O' on lavish scale has never kept the budget below scale.
Seems right from the 'Title' the movie has been made with just one motive, 'Let Audience be ENTERTAINED'. And the director has completely forget the other factors. But still what more to expect, when you enjoy 129 minutes ? The movie even has to surprising climax appearances of two leading actors who are known for their antagonist roles. GV Prakash has once again made a clear winner with the right ingredients. This might be another winner in Kollywood.
