'Srirastu Subhamastu' is a family drama shaped by Parasuram and it is bank-rolled by Allu Aravind. Megahero is making a comeback after a long span and the expectations are sky high. So what is the plot all about ? Allu Sirish has been introduced in a simple manner and on his business trip to Kashmir Valley, he rescues Lavanya from a Trekking accident. He joins with her and she doesn't know who rescued and saved her. And as always, it is love at First sight. He finds that she is a B.Tech final year student in Vishakapatnam and he stalks her each day. At one stage, he opens about this love to his father Prakash Raj and just like any dad, he rejects the love. He openly challenges his father that he will win the girl without revealing his 'Rich' identity. He proposes anu and then we are in for a twist. And later he settles at Anu's home to appease the whole family. We have seen this in lots of movies. However things get a turn towards pre-climax and the emotional scenes has lifted the movie to an extent. We are sure that will attract family audience.

Allu Sirish as Karthik has excelled in his role. Lavanya Tripathi as Anu is charming and has done justice to the role. We have seen her in such roles 'n' number of times. But still we are not bored of her. Allu Sirish is back after a long gap of 2 years and he has opted for a Family entertainer. Prakash Raj as typical father has emoted flawless and he carries the burden of the movie for most part. Rao Ramesh scores towards pre-climax where he speaks about girl's life pre and post-marriage. Sumalatha, Ravi Prakash, Pragathi, Tanikella Bharani have done justice to their roles. Nothing more to brag about. Comedy scenes between Ali and Subbaraju is definitely the saving grace in second half. When things go awkward, they bring smile on faces. The misunderstanding between characters creates some confusion comedy and that is also common in most of the movies. Some beaten to death cliches really spoil the show and the actors couldn't do much about it. Those scenes completely lack freshness and we can't blame the supporting actors.

S.S.Thaman has produced some wonderful tunes and 'Desi Girl' is the pick of the album. Background score is romantic and melodious. Manikanda's cinematography deserves a special mention. He captures the elegant locations of Kashmir through lens in a new dimension. The wedding gala was captured with yellow tint shades and he has tried to show the difference in each frame. Marthand K. Venkatesh's editing is not bad. However some more chopping in second half could have saved the movie from being an average one. Production values are high and Allu Aravind has done it once again. Beaten to death screenplay is also the bad thing in the movie. Wake up Tollywood ! Dialogues of the movie is the biggest backbone and that is what saves the movie from an abrupt climax.

Allu Sirish might have thought of a perfect come back, but this is definitely not that worth ! It is a clean family movie which can be watched once if you have patience. Climax is way too cinematic and that is a biggest negative. First half is good and second half is a total disaster. The pre-climax scene is good. Sentiment is good at times , especially when sirish leaves Ananya Home. Nothing much to brag about. Once watchable for sure !
