Matt Damon as Jason Bourne is back after a long time. The most dangerous former operative of the CIA is drawn out of hiding to uncover hidden truths about his past. Paul Greengrass who has wrote the script has shaped the project. The Bourne franchise started with "The Bourne Identity" back in 2002, continued with "The Bourne Supremacy" in 2004 followed by "The Bourne Ultimatum" in 2007. "The Bourne Legacy"(2012) is not a part of the franchise as Matt Damon never took any part in it. However  "Jason Bourne" definitely lives up to the expectations.

Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) emerges from hiding to find out more about his past. However, little does Bourne know that the CIA have activated Operation Ironhand, the successor to both Operations Treadstone and Blackbriar, in an attempt to hunt him down and bring him back into their hands. He has done justice to his role and as a true fan, he has satisfied everyone. Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, Julia Stiles have done justice to the role. Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander plays a strong, intelligent, ambitious woman in CIA agent, Heather Lee.Tommy Lee Jones is good, like Chris Cooper and Brian Cox were before him, though possibly doesn't have quite as interesting material to work with as they did.

Technical wise the movie is strong. Action is the biggest strength of the movie and Paris chase is going to grab many eye-balls. The amount of cars a SWAT vehicle plows through, flipping them into the air, is really something, as is the conclusion to the chase.Bourne has always been the silent but deadly type, and in this film he goes to extremes with the director (Paul Greengrass. The cinematographer has made some traditional jerky-camera approach and we can see at times, the motion getting paused for few seconds. Editing could have been better.

The ordinary script doesn't hinder Greengrass' ability to execute a couple of solid action sequences. The movie has more style and less substance. If you are a huge fan of Bourne franchise, you must know about Jason bourne and so on. Choreography was good, some good fight scenes, however encompassed with all so shaky-shaky cinematography. The movie has less story and more entertainment. Things might be worse, if you expect the same old gimmicks from the past Bourne trilogy movies. If not, you are in for an enjoyable ride.

Paul Greengrass,Matt Damon,Frank Marshall,John Powell A perfect action thriller which lives up to its predecessor !
