What Is Good
- Fresh cast
What Is Bad
- Slow screenplay
- Lots of college cliches
The story revolves about first year Engineering students who have come with colorful dreams and their industrial visit forms the successful story of Aanandham.
The movie features Thomas Mathew, Sidhi, Arun Kurian, Darsana, Annu Antony in predominant roles and the movie is directed by Ganesh Raj. Vineeth Sreenivasan has bankrolled the movie and the cinematography and editing work was looking after by Anand C. Chandran and Abhinav Sundar Nayak. Manju Warrier has scored the music and the background scores.LJ Films Private limited has made the distribution work in a classy way.
The story has an average first half, a salt n pepper second half with some smashing music, interesting-but-expected cameos and moments that make you reminisce your college days. Meanwhile the director has handled the fresh actors very well and the movie is a sweet old memories for many. The editing part is neat and good.
The film begins on the beaten track introducing each of the characters as the campus stereotypes - funny guys, Romeos, serious types, and the like. The happy episodes with flashback are touching. The first half is average and the second part is filled with moments which will remind your college days. Aanandham is fully with new faces right from acting to directing. But it has enough to entice its target viewers the college kids. The film can evoke at least a few memories for everyone, especially those who are engineers.
