Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru Tamil Movie Review, Rating

What Is Good

  • RJ Balaji's comedy at few places

What Is Bad

  • Poor plot
  • Execution
  • Waste of actor's potential
  • Music
  • Cinematography
Bottom Line: If God saves you from not watching this movie, 'Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru'

Kollywood industry’s music director turned actor GV Prakash’s Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru movie revolves around a youth named Kumar. The story is about his romantic life and how he manages to handle two different heroines is the rest of the story. Actor Jiiva has acted in cameo appearance in the movie. GV Prakash’s movies usually were based on adult comedies, but this movie is for all the audiences.

Star Performance

GV Prakash’s acting is more realistic made and he is special for it. GV and Aanandhi’s chemistry has worked well in this movie as both had previously acted in two movies. Nikki Galrani has been totally wasted. She hardly appears for two or three scenes. Prakash Raj just appears before interval and he fails to do comedy and viillain tactics.Robo Shankar and Singam Puli fail to evoke laughter. They are just annoying. RJ Balaji alone evokes smile at few places. Trying to spoof some TV ads and TV shows will never bring laughter.

Techinical Team

The music was composed by GV Prakash himself. Don't understand how he failed big time. Both songs and Re-recording was at the worst possible level. The cinematography work was played by Sakthi Saravanan and the editing part was done by Vivek Harshan. The first half moves little fastly and the second part of the movie is bit slowly and few scenes are bit lengthy. The camera work is good. The director Rajesh has given a comedy movie to entertain us and to reduce our tension and stress.

Comedy scenes are the biggest minus. Instead of making everyone laugh, they just annoy. Thambi Ramaiah, Robo Shankar, Singam Puli, Oorvasi, Manobala artists were just wasted to core. None of them were used to their potential. Aanandhi and GV Prakash’s chemistry has worked very well as they have earlier worked in two movies and they are considered as ideal pair as far as Kollywood industry is concerned.
