Psycho Review: Story

Meera  [ Priyanka] is a simple middle class working women who leads a happy life. One fine day she meets Nikhil [Raj Shroff] on her way back to home. Meera gives her number to Nikhil for a funny joke played by him and he starts texting her daily. Nikhil suddenly starts acting weird by calling to Meera's office, forces her to come out for coffee, dinner and threatens her to spend some time with him. Merra senses the upfront psycho threat from Nikhil and complaints about him to police commissioner Shekar [Milind Gunaji], with help of her office friend. What problems Meera faces form Nikhil? Did police help her? Or did Meera fight her own battle with that psycho? Has to be seen on silver screen.

Psycho Review: StarPerformances

Priyanka Kothari who had her ball in RGV’s camp as heroine and made her name for skin show has once again showed that acting is not her cup of tea. She managed to put up few expressions at frightening scenes but most of the time you will see her wooden face.

Raj Shroff has done complete justice to role of Psycho give to him. Best part about him is he never overdrive the character limit in the movie. Raj Shroff has future for sure if good roles comes across him.

Milind Gunaji one of the common faces seen in RGV’s film did a cameo in this film and he left his mark even in less screen time given to him. Rest of the characters has no scope of performances in the flick.

Psycho Review: Direction, Music & Technical Aspects

Let’s talk about RGV first who is main pillar of Psycho giving story and screenplay to the movie. Everyone who watches tv and regularly reads newspapers already know this story. There is no heart touching element in the story and even the treatment of screenplay is not so gripping which would glue you to screen.

Coming to direction department Kishore Bhaggav did not hit a six but took a single run on his debut. To be honest his work comes under below average range. RGVs films always sound technically very high but this time with two cinematographers, two editors, separate music composer & BGS dominating even actress voice had backfired with flying negative marks. Production values don’t look great.

Psycho Review: Analysis

Looking at the psycho trailers and kind of publicity which was promoted that EVERY GIRL should watch this movie has created little curiosity around the film. When you sit in the hall expecting suspense thriller with racy screenplay all you will experiences is horrible camera angles, loud BGS, extended boring scenes and top of it predicable scenes floating in time to time.

But at the end there is RGV’s signature in this flick, heroine will turn into psycho at the end, what on earth will justify this point. With this unexpected climax definitely your mind will blow off and parts into pieces. Psycho will make its place in top five worst films came from RGV’s factory.

Bottom Line: If you watch psycho then there are higher chances you turn as PSYCHO
