Nenu Local is the story of fun going guy Babu (Nani) has been introduced as an youth who fails in each subject in Engineering. Once he completes graduation, meets Keerthy Suresh and falls for her. Nani plays Babu in the film who joins MBA to woo Keerthy. The directed tried to give a new and unique treatment for the film. He joins MBA to impress her but his surprising acts irks Keethy and her family. Finally by the time she falls for him, her father turns against their love. It is during this phase, Babu challenges her dad and rest of the movie has to be watched only in the big screen.
The actor has clarified that it is not a mass movie but rather a love story with a different characterization for the hero. The attitude of hero is what makes all the difference according to Nani. Keerthy Suresh's performances is superb and her chemistry with Nani is lovely and caring and Devi Sri Prasad's music is melodious to hear. Naveen Chandra had acted as the antagonist and has acted amazingly. Sachin Khedekar, Posani Krishna Murali and Easwari Rao have done justice to their roles.
The Story of the film is a regular one. Technically, the film is too good. The writing is good and it is also a plus point in the film. The chemistry between Nani and Keerthy Suresh appears good and it came out well. It is a one man show movie. The second half is bit entertaining and the cinematography work was done neatly.
The first half passes with loads of entertainment and the fresh love story is a huge asset for “Nenu Local” movie. Though some of the episodes look regular, the audience will be left convinced because of the presentation and the way the movie is made. The songs have been placed perfectly and the interval episodes make the first half decent. Nani and Keerthy Suresh have done a decent job and appreciatable. The comedy track is good and watch the emotional mass entertainer and have a great weekend.
