The movie takes you through the happenings just before the climax sequence of the movie, in which Seban ( Asif Ali) and Angel (Bhavana)are shown married. Honey Bee 2 takes you through some of the issues and interesting events that happen in the due course of their marriage, giving importance to the families of Seban and Angel. The first half moves little fastly and the second half makes the audience little bored.
Apart from the main cast comprising Asif Ali, Bhavana, Lal, Baburaj, Sreenath Bhasi and Balu, actors Sreenivasan, Ganapathy and Leena have acted well and had captured hearts of many. Lal Junior had directed the comedy entertainer and bankrolled by Lal creations. Bhavana had acted excellently and her chemistry with Asif Ali had done wonders in the movie.
The cinematography and songs will definitely touch your hearts. The second part scenes are bit lengthy and makes the audience restless. The movie, without releasing any teasers or trailers, caught the attention of movie buffs with its colorful posters and funky songs adds beauty to Honey Bee 2.
Till the intermission, the film is a laughter riot and unlike many contemporary comedies, it mercifully spares us of the cliché humour and situations we have seen in films, over and again. Sreenath Bhasi, Baburaj and Balu Varghese are in their element, and silly-yet-quality laughs just keep coming, but the second half is boring and the director doesn't know how to extend the scenes. The only saving grace of the second half is certain costumes sported by Bhavana, which are extremely gorgeous with a modern take on the traditional attires.
