Marakathamani movie's story unfolds in three different timelines 1100, 1992 and 2016. The movie is based on five characters. The movie's story revolves around the precious stone called Marakathamani . The lead actor, played by Aadhi, is set to go on a dangerous expedition in search of a stone. How he finds the stone and risks he faced forms the crux of the movie.
It is a fantasy comedy thriller, which is directed by Debut director ARK Saravanan, and produced by G. Dillibabu under the banner, Axess Film Factory.The film features Aadhi and Nikki Galrani in supreme roles, while Anandaraj, Ramdoss, Danie, Mime Gopi, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Arunraja Kamaraj, M.S. Baskar, Brahmanandam, Kaali Venkat, Sangili Murugan and K.Pooranesh have acted in empowering roles.
The movie's music is composed by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, whereas Cinematography by PV Shankar and Edited by Prasanna GK. The editing part was not so good as few scenes are bit lengthy and makes the audience restless. Director Saravanan had directed the movie based on real life incident which he had read in the newspaper. The movie was made with comedy and horror.
