Mom movie shows about the frightening reality of boys at 18 riding fancy bikes to school, passing on lewd videos to female classmates, snorting coke, downing beers, and generally surveying the much-reviled farm house party scene of Delhi is not going to further help a parent's frayed nerves. Sridevi as biology teacher sees her daughter being raped and how she finds the culprit and what happens next should be known only by watching the movie on the big screen.

Sridevi's character that she plays is strong, strained and is in a very tricky relationship with her teenage daughter. Sridevi plays this to perfection. Her impressive screen presence is something that one gets to see rarely.Actor Nawazuddin Siddique sports an extremely interesting look and plays the role of a secret detective. Rest of the actors have done justice to their roles. Sridevi and Nawaz deliver excellent performances, the plot and the storyline is too feeble.

AR Rahman had scored the music which is made phenomenally and the background scoring is made amazingly. The cinematography and location chosen are excellent. The editing part of the movie is also made massively. Sridevi had done a superb job. Akshaye Khanna has proved himself and his acting style is superb. In fact, the technical aspects are made outstandingly well.

The basic foundation that holds the whole movie together is the story, and that's where the problem lies here. With the foundation in trouble, it's not very difficult for the whole skeleton to fall. This is a story which had been seen multiple times, in different ways. The screenplay of the movie is simply superb. Sridevi had acted phenomenally and had proved her individuality in the movie again after English Vinglish.
