Satyam (Nithiin), a reckless youth wants go to US to marry a rich girl. Chaitra (Mega Akash) agrees to marry someone to tour nice locations like US but the wedding gets cancelled for a silly reason. Travel agent sets Chaitra and Satyam go together on US trip. The movie has love, intelligence and enmity and the trailer promises that it will be a nail-biting watch. The love story is built on the concept of lying to each other and the protagonist's name, 'A Satyam', which translates to 'lie' when pronounced together.

In LIE, Nithiin has been experimenting with different scripts of late. He rocked the pink blazer look in one of his earlier movies, which brought him back to success. Moreover the actor looks uber macho with a cool hairstyle. His appearance has been a talking point, and will definitely tease the cine buff in you to see how that matches his acting prowess. Megha Akash has done justice to her role and her chemistry with the hero is good. Arjun Sarja, Sri Ram, Ajay, Nassar, Ravi Kishan, Brahmaji, Prithviraj and Brahmanandam have also done good jobs. Director Hanu Raghavapudi came up with LIE, which truly seems to have a thrilling plot.

Mani Sharma's songs and background score, J Yuvaraj's cinematography, beautiful locales and choreography of action and chase scenes are the attractions on the technical front. Mani Sharma's music compositions have climbed the hearts of the fans. Bhombhat song will be a treat to all the youngsters. The action scenes in particular deserve a special mention as they are crafted too good. The cinematography captures the exotic locales of Las Vegas and San Francisco. Editing part is little sloppy. It could have been a little better. The production values are also high!

Meanwhile going by the trailer, we understand the hero gets into trouble after getting involved in a cat and mouse game after a suspicious packet goes missing. How the hero deals with the issue with his intelligence is the climax of the movie. Arjun had acted in negative role in the movie. This macho Man had done brilliant performance. The movie is not so impressive, unconvincing logic. It is a below average movie. Production values and scenes between Arjun and Nithiin are the only positives in the movie. Other than that the plot of the movie are below average.
