In recent times, one movie that has garnered the attention of movie buffs happens to be the action thriller RX 100, made with newcomers Karthikeya and Payal Rajput and directed by Debutant Ajay Bhupati. Whether the movie has lived up to the expectations? Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net RX100 review.

Shiva(Karthikeya) is the son of the powerful Ramki belonging to Atreyauram, and the whole village fears the powerful duo, Shiva falls in love with Payal Rajput, the daughter of ZPTC member Viswanadham(Rao Ramesh). While Viswanadham gets to know of his daughter's secret love affair, he conducts her marriage with an NRI. How Shiva reacts and responds to retaliate against Vishwanadham is what RX 100 is all about.

Karthikeya is adequate and his physique and looks are perfect for the action hero role he has taken, while in the love scenes, the other debutant Payal Rajput takes over, with her charm and attractive expressions, Veteran Ramky is perfectly cast, while Rao Ramesh is menacing and impressive.

Chaitan Bharadwaj's music is good as the background score impresses, while the songs do not click. Raam's cinematography is top notch as he has captured the violent scenes in all its glory, Praveen KL's editing deserves a special mention for the sharp cuts. Debutant director Ajay Bhupati has come up with RX 100, a love story set at a violent backdrop. While he has taken a good premise, with a typical love story set against an atypical violence setup, he has established the romance between Kartikeya and Payal Rajput in an intimate and passionate manner.

But the movie takes too much of time before the main plot begins. Besides, too many liplock sequences and the extreme gore and shock factor in the movie might not cater to the family audience, ultimately impacting the prospects of the movie. RX 100 is stylish, bold in terms of its intense love episodes and the raw gore, but is made in an amateurish manner, with boring sequences, which ultimately makes it a dark experience that deserves patience.
